Standing with Our First Responders March and Rally

On November 12th, 2021, we gathered with hundreds of citizens at the South Carolina State House in Columbia to stand up against vaccine mandates and to support our first responders who were unjustly mandated to take the COVID-19 vaccine. This endeavor, along with other groups, helped to influence the SC general assembly to come back into an emergency session and pass a bill prohibiting vaccine mandates in South Carolina. Our efforts included circulating a petition, billboards that read, “Stand with our First Responders” and “No Vaccine Mandates” in over 20 counties across SC, and coordinating efforts for individuals across the United States and Canada to aid in advocating for their freedom of conscience and religious liberty regarding vaccine exemptions.

Right of Conscience Symposium

On October 27th, 2023, LAJFA relaunched with a day-long conference in Charleston, South Carolina, at the historic Hibernian Hall to highlight the importance of healthcare freedom and informed consent, protection of minors from gender-affirming care, and the vital role of physician voices in policy making. We were joined by citizens and legislators from all over South Carolina and brought in local experts, physicians, and policy experts from North Carolina and Virginia. Our keynote speaker was Miriam Grossman, MD, author of Lost in Trans Nation and leading authority on the invasive trans ideology that is attacking the nuclear family. That evening, we held a fundraising dinner to highlight our new initiative, South Carolina Physicians for Freedom.
